Who we are
Nara to Norwich (website address: http://naratonorwich.org) is a research project run by The Sainsbury Institute for the Study of Japanese Arts and Cultures (SISJAC). We recognise that personal privacy is an important issue and our website practices are in compliance with all relevant UK legislation.
Currently users are not required to register or provide any personal information in order to use the main web. No personal data is stored by or captured through the site without users’ prior knowledge and consent.
Where personal information is captured (e.g. through web forms for feedback, requests, etc.), the user will be informed as to what information is being captured. Any personal information that you provide to us will be used only for the purpose stated at the time we request it. We will not sell, license or trade your personal information to others. How long we retain your data
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
